Delivering business continuity in a pandemic 

The UK’s leading heart charity, and a major provider of funding into heart and circulatory diseases, the British Heart Foundation (BHF) has an on and offline retail footprint to rival that of larger UK high street brands. In 2018 it embarked upon a digital transformation to build a technology infrastructure that could help it support the 7.6 million people across the UK living with heart and circulatory disease. Its investment with VMware has helped modernise its data centres, supporting the charity to adapt quickly when COVID-19 became a Global pandemic. As the BHF continues to support patients and fund research in the face of continued disruption, the charity is benefitting from a digital foundation built on VMware solutions.
