Roman Pfenninger, Head of Hosting Infrastructure, City of Zurich

OIZ wanted to take the private cloud to the next level with an enterprise-defined data center (EDDC), where workloads can run in the private cloud and move seamlessly to the public cloud. To support this project, OIZ drew up a list of 300 requirements, including continuous automation, ongoing release, ongoing testing and pre-configuration. VMware Cloud Foundation met these needs.
