After the headlines on the subject of AI went into overdrive last year, we were really curious.

Is the hype justified and, more importantly, how far away are we from implementation? Is AI already being used in healthcare and what can we expect in the near future, apart from the myths?

One of the key takeaways for hospital IT teams is that implementation is closer than we think and in some cases may already be underway. This means that implementation needs to be ensured now and this requires the right infrastructure and a suitable software platform.
